WHAT IS GOING ON?
Well based on last nights maintence/fix and lack of reset, looks like there are now more Glitched 23/24 Weapons and Armor then legit ones. And as one person who took advantage of Glitching last night said "They (GameForge) will not take them (the glitched items) away or ban anyone"!
If GameForge/GOA made account selling legal again, I would sell off my accounts...but that is not currently an option so I am stuck playing GOA since I cannot start all over somewhere else!

Dear players,
we are aware of the problems we had since yesterdays maintenance. With this post i'd like to tell you, why this happened and that we are working on finding a solution for the problems the bug caused.
First: The reason!
Yesterday we applied the christmas event to our servers. For this event we had to update many entries in our database and here one error occured. One specific server message had an error that the server software could not correctly read and therefore the server crashed. We already applied a serverside hotfix for this problem not to happen anymore.
We are really sorry that this error slipped through our QA and caused such big problems in the game.
Second: What are we going to do about that?
Currently we are still analyzing our data and it is hard to tell what steps we will take since this is a real complicated matter. I hope i can tell you in the next few days what we will do exactly.
Again, we are really sorry for this situation and we will try everything that we can to prevent this in the future.

Some people made plus 24-23-22 using small amount of Ms which makes me mad because I spent way more and don't get even a 22 wept.
i think you guys should reset all the plussed stuff back to what players had... that will be fair for everyone...

Thank you for replying to this thread and taking it serioulsy.
1) I understand programming glitches, issues etc. are a part of the industry and do happen.
I personally think it would have been much easier on the commuinity if A) the patch was reversed until a solution was found or
the game was taken down until a solution was found. But again, that is a personal opinnion from a former IT Consultant.
Also, on a side note, more communication via the forum or news would have been greatly appreciated. Having GM's post in Admin chat when people are DC'ing does not seem like a valid form of communication.
2) I appreciate you looking into the events of yesterday and the Plusing Glitch and hope GF comes up with a quick resolution. For every minute or hour that passes, the Glitched items are being used and possibly sold or traded to other players causing even more of an issue.
I have worked so very hard to come close to being able to get a +22 pvp weapon and from what everyone has told me, I still need more to be able to trade for one. I could have taken the easy way out and took advantage of yesterdays Plusing Glitch and have gotten to a major goal of mine in the game. But myself and a lot of others choose not to take advantage of the Plusing Glitch because it is wrong to do so.
I hope all the items that were plused yesterday are reverted back, or better, yet the items just removed from the game. In regards to those players and accounts that took advantage of the Plusing Glitch, action should be taken against them and an example finally made.
Again, I apologize if my frustration with GOA is showing in this post.

Why do we need to ss something the Gms had already seen?? and warned us not to plus?? has the plusses from the glitch actually been taken away or is that just a lie to make us go away? And honestly no one cares for the rules much anymore cause they are never upholded anyway
Thats an approach I havent though of taz. Actually Punishing the people who used the glitch instead of simply taking away thier ill got goods. Doing it might just provide the example people need to not do this sort of thing in the future.
I agree with Taz. Taking the items away and a ban should be in order for people who abused the plus glitch.
all valid points and no crap is what im seeing. i agree, when something goes wrong and is fixed, all damage done when it went wrong should be reversed so that nobody has too much of an edge over everyone else. keeping these glitched items in circulation is destroying any remnants of economy this game had left after the Call To Arms patch ended. i"ve been coming back to this game again and agan since the first release hoping to see a positive change, so far disappointed, but action on yesterdays events could help.
