GLITCHED GOLD NEEDS TO BE DRAINED OUT OF GOA
WE need to try as players of this game to conveince the GF to bring back the effect changes bought from npc's If people are buying them it is taking the money out of the game and not giving an advantage to either side, Effect changes will not cause harm to either faction and it will get alot of gold out of this game, they have done it once lets do it AGAIN...

Have the GMs (I know the gms, crazy right?) log in on their GM toons and for 'x' amount of time and have either ms items or Holy Stones or whatever - something that can help both sides - in a shop. As soon as the person buys the item from the shop, that gold is gone. Both sides would profit from it and gold will leave the game.

I agree 100%, GOA need to come up with Gold Dump items to drain the game of gold. When effect changes were able to be purchased from the NPC, prices of ingame items started to decrease until the "Glitch"....This is the best solution to the current gold problem one GOA finishes its process.
Effect changes from npcs, ms items from npcs, holy stones from npcs, whatever. Amnesty is done, a lot of the gold has be removed, they obviously missed some, Gold Dump is absolutly 100% needed

On other games there is a nightly auction that runs for an hour. The game puts up an item IE a +20 chest, a ProPack, antidotes, growth pots (something you want and cant readily get); and ALL players can bid on the auctioned item with no ceiling. At the end of the hour the highest bid wins and the gold is automatically collected from the account. This could create a major reduction in gold. People that glitched gold seem readily willing to spend it, while people that earned it seem to choose their purchases more carefully. This could get some of the unvaluable gold out of circulation. This isnt a fix, just a bandaid

As much of this was brought up in our guild master multi-factional meeting today i am inclined to press my agreement. even though most of the glitched gold may be gone, there is still too much gold in general and we need to dump it somehow. and the effect change scrolls are a start

In fact I just posted on another thread the need to add a way for Players to spend gold 'back into' the game.....Rather than simply bouncing it back and forth between us.
That post was in the Tavern somewhere.....about Vals taking control of Vals or something like that(don't remember thread title exactly sorry guys).
If the Game Programmers were to put in a system to bleed off some of our excess gold....the Prices of things would not be rising. It is simple economics.
Effect changes would help of course....but realistically....more than that needs to be implemented. As long we accumulate more gold everyday(each killed/looted mob contributes) and DO NOT have a way to remove it from circulation......Inflation is the ONLY possible result.
GoA is filled with some of the most creative, inventive thinking people I've ever met. Surely we as a Group can think of some ideas to present to the Programmers. If we can in fact have some implemented....our economies can stabilize! So time to Brainstorm!!!
I liked the Auction Idea as well Anything we can add to that? Ideas? Suggestions? Come on Guys, We can do this!
